Elegant window and bedroom canopy scarves made of chinese charmeuse silk have an incredible drape and hand. There is no other fabric that drapes like silk. They dress up every window beautifully, look great with undertreatments of blinds or shades, and also are great draped on bedroom canopies. They are available in many neutrals, as well as some stunning jewel colors. The color shown in the picture is butter.

These scarves are custom made, and have a beautiful simple hand sewn rolled hem and tapered ends. (If you would prefer the ends not to be tapered, this is available). To look like the picture, do not have them fan folded; they are meant to drape loosely through rings or on rods as shown. ( We love leather covered rings with silk...the contrast is stunning). If you wish to drape on a drapery rod, they also work well, but they are very loose form, and work best on a rod with a matte or wood finish. (If you want them pressed and fan folded, they will have a more structured appearance and the tails will hang in folds. ) These are custom and may be made to a longer length if you wish. The Standard 216" length (6 yards) will drape most standard windows asymmetrically with one side going to the floor; if you wish your scarf to hang symetrically to the floor on both sides, you will need to send window measurements and we will advise you of the length and any extra cost.

These scarves are fabricated by local AMERICAN seamstresses in our Interior design studio in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The silk comes from China. They are beautifully hand sewn. Silk is a a wonderful; natural SUSTAINABLE fiber made from silkworms, there is nothing toxic about it which is why it has stood the test of time. Once you see and feel these, you will not want anything else. In reality, we can custom make them to any length you want. Matching accessories ( such as pillows) can also be fabricated for you!

This is a custom order and is not returnable, (the fabric is ordered and sewn just for you) but it is warrantied against defects in workmanship for 30 days (but which we mean if there is truly a serious defect, the scarve will be replaced for you). We are confident in the quality of our product, and this has never happened! Swatches are available. We use only cotton/silk thread; no cheap microfilament that starts unraveling in a year. This is a custom order and may take as long as 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. We're sorry it cannot be faster, but the fabric is always ordered fresh from the supplier in China, and for quality control we will not rush. Real craftsmanship takes time.

For a finished width 96" LONG BY 52" WIDE SILK, LINED AND INTERLINED DRAPERY PANEL. Price is for one panel. We feel our quality and attention to detail is worth every penny. You cannot believe how luxurious these drapes look and feel. Nothing has the drape and hand of silk. Basic colors are white, cream, bronze-gold, rust, red, and burgundy. You are looking at rust in the photograph. Many jewel tone colors are also available

(The panels pictured are our 1.5 width wide pleated panels, for two width panel which has extra fullness add 50.00 per panel.) These panels are meant to be starionary and decorative. We actually prefer the 1.5 time width; it doesn't look bulky yet it retains its fullness.

This high end custom-made dupioni/shantung silk drapery panel is made and designed in our own interior design studio by our professional seamstresses. This silk has natural slubbing like dupioni, but is of higher quality. It has an extremely formed hand, it holds its shape beautifully. Custom features of our panels include: Blind stitched side and bottom hems, (we use silk/cotton thread, NOT the cheap microfliment); hand sewn weights in bottom hems, lined with quality drapery lining to protect your silk, lined with an additional layer of flannel interlining for couture richness and luxury, and finally they are topped off with a pinch pleated heading. We use minimally 1.5 full widths of 54" silk in each panel. With 7 to 10 pleats depending on widths used; the pleated to finished width of each panel is 50" (including a 3.5" return and a 3.5" overlap). All of these features combine to create a truly custom-made designer look.

Hang our panels from a beautiful decorator pole with rings as pictured, or a rich wood pole with rings to complete the look. (We include drapery pins for installation) Custom designer drapery hardware available at retail upon request. (Pole shown is a cast metal Graber with arrow ends).

You will not find this quality in a "ready-made" drapery panel anywhere. This is a handcrafted, custom made item. It will take approximately 4-8 weeks for delivery!
